Refunds & Cancellations
How refund policies work and how to process refunds for your attendees.
Handling refunds smoothly is important for maintaining trust with your attendees. Buscando Bachata provides flexible refund tools that work with the policy you set.
Processing a Refund
- Go to your tickets dashboard and find the order.
- Click "Refund" on the order you want to refund.
- Choose between a full refund or a partial refund (enter the amount).
- Select a refund reason (customer request, event cancelled, duplicate, etc.).
- Confirm the refund. The buyer will receive an email notification.
Refund Details
- Full refunds cancel the ticket and return the full amount to the buyer.
- Partial refunds return a portion of the amount while keeping the ticket active.
- Stripe processing fees are returned on full refunds. Our $0.89 platform fee is also refunded.
- Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on the buyer's statement within 5-10 business days.
Event Cancellation
If you need to cancel an event entirely, you can issue refunds to all ticket holders from the dashboard. Mark the event as cancelled, and all refund policy restrictions are bypassed — buyers can always be refunded when an event is cancelled.
