Transferring Tickets
How to transfer your ticket to someone else if you can no longer attend.
If you can no longer attend an event, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. The transfer process creates a new ticket for the recipient and marks your original ticket as transferred.
How to Transfer a Ticket
- Go to the event page and click "Transfer Ticket" (or visit the transfer page directly from your confirmation email).
- Enter the email address you used when purchasing the ticket to verify ownership.
- Enter the name and email address of the person you want to transfer the ticket to.
- Confirm the transfer.
What Happens After Transfer
- The recipient receives an email with their new QR code ticket.
- Your original ticket is marked as "transferred" and can no longer be used for check-in.
- Transfers are final and cannot be reversed.
- There is a limit of 3 transfer requests per hour to prevent abuse.
Need a Refund Instead?
If you would prefer a refund rather than a transfer, check the event's refund policy on the event page. Refund eligibility depends on the organizer's policy and how close the event is.
